Announcement from Section 203:
Friday, May 27th is the deadline to sign up for the ASQ ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Transition Training class being held June 28th-29th at The Cobblestone Inn & Suites of St. Marys. We currently still have 4 seats available which we need to fill to guarantee our rate of $500 per person. If you are interested in attending, please respond ASAP. Or if you know of anyone who may be interested who is not included on this mailing, please feel free to share it with them. Membership in ASQ is NOT required to attend this class!
On behalf of the American Society for Quality Allegany Mountain Section #0203, I am pleased to announce that the ASQ “ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Transition Training” class will be offered locally on June 28-29, 2016 at The Cobblestone Inn & Suites of St. Marys, PA. (Refer to http://asq.org/training/iso-9001-2015-auditor-transition-training_ISO2015ATT.html for full details on this course).
The cost of this 2-day course, as advertised by ASQ, is regularly $899.00 for members, $999.00 for non-members, which does NOT including travel expenses (varies based on location attending – air, rental care, hotel, meals, etc). Through the support of the local ASQ section, we are pleased to be able to offer this same 2-day class with an as an “on-site” training event locally for the reduced price of $500.00 per person which will include cost of the course, course materials, as well as continental breakfast and lunch for both days. The course instructor will be assigned by the training division of ASQ Headquarters, and will have a minimum 10 years management systems auditing experience.
As an added bonus, attendees will also receive an additional ASQ Web-based Quality Training course at no additional cost!
In order to offer this class at the reduced cost, we must have a commitment of 20 students. Registration and payment must be in advance and is due to the local ASQ Section #0203 by no later than Friday, May 27th. Since the per person rate is calculated on full attendance of 20 students, if for any reason, an individual needs to cancel, a refund can only be provided if the spot is filled by another attendee. Once the alternate attendee has paid his/her spot, a full refund will be provided to the original attendee.
If you are interested in attending this course, please contact me via email or by phone at (814) 512-4688 to reserve your spot today, as class size is limited to 20 people maximum. Payments are to be made by check only payable to “ASQ Section #0203” and must be received no later than Friday, May 27th. Dependent upon the response received, we may try to schedule a second class later this year.
If you have any questions, or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me at anytime.
