 PROGRAM: Six Sigma Black Belt Panel Discussion

 

The Section and PSU Student Chapter are holding a joint meeting on Six Sigma.  The discussion is intended to help the students, and members, learn the benefits of Six Sigma.

 Second February 2010 Meeting/Tour

DATE: February 24, 2010

TIME:   ASQ Meeting 6:15 pm, Tour: 6:30

Please arrive by 6:00 pm for entrance registration.

THERE WILL BE NO DINNER WITH THIS TOUR.

This will be a joint tour of Lycoming Engines with the ASME group. 

 The tour size is limited, so the first 40 fully pre-registered guests will be put on the access list.

We would request that all persons who plan to attend (including spouses and guests) provide the below information by the February 17th deadline. This information is required and will be kept confidential by the Lycoming Engine tour hosts. Proper I.D. is required to be admitted on the tour that evening.

Required reading prior to section tour

 

ID Required: For all international or foreign nationals touring the facility, passport numbers and country of residence must be listed when pre-registering (for security clearance purposes only, per the Privacy Act of 1976). Without clearance, participants will not be permitted to tour the facility.

 

Please be prepared to show a legal form of ID prior to the tour. An adult must accompany children under 16 years of age. If children are international or foreign nationals, they must also provide their passports.

Note 1: All foreign nationals must include Country of Origin, State/Country of Residence, Passport number, and Visa Number and must bring Passport and Visa with them or Green Card.

Note 2: Anyone over 16 requesting entrance must have a government issued ID, i.e. driver’s license.

 

Safety Requirements: No cameras (including cell phones with camera or video capability) or open-toed shoes are allowed in the facility. Steel-toed shoes are preferred and required if you are touring a specific work area outside the main aisle or tour route. Tour participants will be required to wear safety glasses during portions of the tour. Hearing protection is also provided if there is a need.
